Sea of Galilee Christian Bike Tour

Travelujah / Explore / Sea of Galilee Christian Bike Tour

Discover the holy Christian sites on a unique bike tour around the Sea of Galilee!

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" Matt. 5:3

This private tour is offered by Eco-bike and begins in Tabgha, where we will enter the Church of Multiplication marking the place that Jesus fed the masses with only two fish and five loafs of bread. From there we will continue on a short bike ride and see the church situated on the shore of the sea marking the primacy of St. Peter.

After Tabgha, we will ride towards Mt. Beatitudes, overlooking the Sea of Galilee. This beautiful church was built in 1938 on top of a fourth century church and it marks the place where Jesus delivered his famous sermon. From here we head back down to the biblical village of Capernaum, home of Jesus and his first disciples.

From Capernaum we will ride along the lake across the Jordan to Bethsaida, yet another landmark in the life of Jesus in this region. Afterwards, we will bike across the valley of Bethsaida and arrive to our last stop- Kursi. This is the place where Jesus cured two mad men who were possessed by demons. Tour Length: tour is approx. 20 km. and takes around 6 hours (of which 3 hours are done by bike)

Tour Price: $455 basic rate (for 2 cyclists) and $30 for every additional cyclist

Tour includes: English Speaking Guide, High quality Bike, Helmet, Water and Snacks
