The L.A. Mayer Islamic Museum

Situated in West Jerusalem, in the upscale area of Talpiyot. Opened in 1974, the museum houses a wonderful collection on the art of Islamic countries and focuses on architecture and ornamental objects from the 7th century C.E. to present times.  There are wonderful activities on site for children as well.

The collection spans from Spain to India and even further eastward. It is one of the foremost collections of Islamic Art.
