This comprehensive day tour is ideal for independent travelers seeking to visit holy and historical sites that are logistically difficult to see affordably on your own. You will visit  the original baptismal site of Qasr El Yahud, Bethlehem, Jericho, Taibeh and Ramallah. Priced at 355 shekel per person (approximately $90) - make sure to reserve this popular program in advance.

 

After meeting your group and departing via private transportation in Jerusalem you will begin your tour in Bethlehem, with a visit to the Nativity Church, Shepherd's Field, a view of the Separation Wall. Lunch in Bethlehem.

 

See Jericho, the oldest city in the world, situated overlooking the Jordan Valley and northern Dead Sea. Visit Ein Al Sultan Spring, the Tree of Zacchaeus, and view the Mount of Temptation.

 

From there we will the ancient baptism site of Qasr-el-Yahud on the banks of the Jordan River, and the remains of Hisham's Palace.

After  Jericho, we drive up the rolling hills of the West Bank to Taibeh to visit the world famous Taibeh Brewery.

 

In Ramallah we visit Manara Square, the thriving commercial district and Arafat's tomb. Then visit a Palestinian civil society organization.

 

We return to Jerusalem as a group via public transportation with a chance to experience going through the Kalandia checkpoint.

$3 entrance fee to Hisham's Palace is not included
