Beit Ussishkin, a regional nature and archaeology musuem
The Museum is situate in nearby Kibbutz Dan. The museum displays flora and fauna from the Hula Valley and the surrounding region, beginning from before the draining of the Hula Swamp in 1951. There is also an impressive exhibition of animals and plants from the countryside.
The permanent exhibition at Beit Ussishkin enhances the visitors understanding of the ancient city. There are ancient tools on discplay beginning from the second millennium BCE through the Roman period. In additiona the multimedia dsplay includes a computer program demonstrating the changing form o fthe ritual site. Other items of special interest include a hologram of the Mycenaean grave from the Late Bronze Age, as well as an audio-visual program on the region.
