The American Colony Hotel is considered a boutique five star property offering a total of 86 guest rooms in the heart of East Jerusalem. The historical building dates back to the late 1800's when it was first built as a pasha's palace and only later became a home for a group of American and Swedish immigrants. Later the property was converted into a high-end boutique hotel serving foreign guests. The property is part of the Leading Hotels of World group of properties.
