This weekly 10-night Holy Land tour begins weekly on Sundays and begins at $1695 per person double occupancy. Guided by licensed tour guides, this program includes many important sites in Israel, Bethlehem and Jordan and is ideally suited for individual travelers or very small groups that want the affordable pricing of a group tour.
Sunday - Ben Gurion Airport / Tel Aviv
Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, where you will be met by our tour representative and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Monday - Tel Aviv / Beer Sheva / Massada / Dead Sea
Depart Tel Aviv via Ashdod, Ashkelon and Beer Sheva for a short visit to the Negev capital. Continue via Arad to Massada. Ascend by cable car to the fortress which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, Herod's palaces, the synagogue, bathhouse etc. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. Descend for a possibly float in the salt water of the world's lowest place. Via Ein Gedi and Kalia, proceed to Jerusalem for overnight.

Tuesday - Jerusalem - New City
Drive to Mount Scopus for a panoramic view of Jerusalem followed by the Garden of Gethsemane and Church of Agony. Continue to the Israel Museum and visit the Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead Sea scrolls, followed by a visit to the beautifully renovated model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem, dating back to the time of the Second Temple. Continue to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust. In the afternoon, visit the synagogue of Hadassah Medical Center with the Marc Chagall stained glass windows. Return to your hotel via Ein Kerem, the birth place of John the Baptist.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
Wednesday - Jerusalem - Old City / Bethlehem*
Walk through one of the gates to the walled Old City: the renewed Jewish Quarter, Western Wall, the Temple area, colorful bazaars, Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. In the afternoon, continue to Bethlehem* to visit the Church of the Nativity and return to Jerusalem for overnight.
Thursday - Beit Shean / Tiberias / Galilee
Leave Jerusalem and drive north to Jericho*, the oldest city in the world, through the Jordan Valley and the new settlements to Beit Shean. Visit the excavations of this beautiful preserved Roman city. Proceed to Tiberias, the old center of Jewish learning. Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum and visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Continue to a Kibbutz hotel for overnight.
Friday - Upper Galilee / Golan Heights / Nazareth
Drive to the Golan Heights and visit the former Syrian fortifications and Druze villages. Via Banias, the source of the Jordan River, proceed via the Hula Valley to Safed, city of the Kaballah and visit a synagogue and the artists' colony. Continue to Nazareth and visit the Christian Holy Sites. Return to the Kibbutz hotel for overnight.
Saturday - Acre / Haifa / Tel Aviv
After breakfast, drive west to Acre for a visit of the old, famous Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications. Continue to Haifa, sightseeing tour of Haifa, including the Bahai Shrine, Persian Gardens and Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the city and bay. Proceed along the coast to Caesarea and visit the Roman Theatre and Crusader Fortress. End the day with a short city tour of Tel Aviv-Jaffa and overnight.
Sunday - Hussein Bridge or (Allenby Bridge) / Jerash / Amman
Depart from your hotel to the border. After border crossing procedures to enter Jordan, proceed to Jerash, city of the Decapolis located approximately 45 kilometers north of Amman in the fertile heights of Gilead. Visit the ancient Roman city with colonnaded streets, the baths and the hill of the top temple etc. Continue to Amman for a city tour of the Jordanian Capital. Overnight in Amman.
Monday - Amman / Petra / Amman
After early breakfast, leave the hotel and travel south on the road to Wadi Musa. Continue on horseback to the "Siq" (canyon) followed by foot to Petra also known as "Sela Edom" or Red Rock City, the ancient capital of the Nabateans from the 3rd Century B.C. to 2nd Century A.D. Visit the most interesting monuments, such as the Treasury, El Khazneh (a tomb of a Nabatean King), the field of tombs, obelisks, the altar (Al Madhbah). From this point, you can view the whole of the rock city, travel back to Wadi Musa village and drive back to Amman for overnight.

Tuesday - Amman / Madaba / Mount Nebo / Jerusalem / Tel Aviv
Drive to Madaba to see the ancient mosaic map of the Holyland and ruins of the historical sites. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. From there, you will see the Jordan Valley, Jericho, Dead Sea etc. Visit the remains of a Byzantine Church with a mosaic floor and drive back to the border for overnight in Tel Aviv.
Wednesday - Tel Aviv / Ben Gurion Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure.
