Day 1 - Departure USA
Day 2 - Arrival Israel

Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport / Tel-Aviv. Meet with our tour representative and drive to Jerusalem. Ascend the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem. Visit the Asencion Church, Pater Noster Church, Dominus Flevit. Walk the Palm Sunday Way and descend to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus spent the last night before he was arrested and celebrate mass. Visit the famous Church of All Nations. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. |
Day 3 - Jerusalem

Walk across the Kidron Valley along the "last way" to Mt. Zion where Pope Benedict XVI gave his holy mass. Stand next to the Southern Wall and view the City of David. Visit the Church of Peter in Gallicantu, the site where Peter denied our Lord three times. It was also the House of the High Priest Caiphas where Jesus was interrogated. Visit the Last Supper Room and King David's Tomb. Afternoon, drive to Mt Moriah. Enter Old City of Jerusalem from Lion Gate. Walk to the Pool of Bethesda, and St. Anne Church, a fine example of Crusader architecture. Visit the Flagellation and Condemnation Churches. Continue along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. |
Day 4 - Jerusalem
After Breakfast, visit Ein Karem, the Church of St. John the Baptist where Virgin Mary visited Elisabat, continue to Visitation Church. Afternoon spend a free time day exploring the most amazing City of Jerusalem. Dinner & overnight at the hotel with special evening program with Catholic leader(s) at historic Notre Dame.

After an early breakfast (entertainment day). Depart Jerusalem and travel east to the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth. Visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Continue to the shore for a "float" in the Dead Sea. Pass the traditional site of the Inn of the Good Samaritan. Dinner & overnight at the hotel. |
Day 6 - Bethlehem
Visit the Church of the Nativity marking the birthplace of Christ. Visit the Grotto, the Church of St Catherine and St.Jerome caves. Continue to Milk Grotto Church. Visit the Shepherd's Fields where the Angels appeared to the Shepherds announcing the good news. Free time in the afternoon. Experience a cultural event at one of our local centers. Taste traditional Palestinian food at the Tent Restaurant Beit Sahour. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 - Galilee-Nazareth
After breakfast, check out of our hotel and drive to Cana of Galilee, where Jesus performed his first miracle. Those who wish may renew their marriage vows. Continue to Nazareth, the home of Mary and Joseph, pass Mary's well, and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation. Visit the Synagogue. Possible volunteer project in Nazareth, if desired. Time permitting, drive through the Galilee hills to explore Tzippori (Sepphoris), Capital of Galilee in Herod's time and home of Joachim and Anna. Continue to the Jezreel Valley visiting Mount Tabor, traditional place of the transfiguration. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 - Galilee-Sea of Galilee
After breakfast, day starts with a drive north to Mt. of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. Continue on to Tabgha where the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes took place, St. Peter’s Primac Church. Continue to visit the ruins of Capernaum, the town where Jesus made his home after leaving Nazareth. View the remains of the ancient synagogue in which Jesus may have preached and the house of Peter. Drive to Kibbutz Ginosar and visit the "Jesus Boat". Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Dinner & overnight in at the hotel.
Day 9 - Galilee-Haifa and the Northern Coast
Cross the Plains of Jezreel and continue to Haifa and Mt. Carmel, visit the Stella Maris Church, where is believed to have been inhabited by Elijah. Continue to Acco to visit the Crusader Fortress, and visit the Church of St. John and the Harbor. Drive back to the hotel for dinner & overnight.
Day 10 - Galilee / Ben Gurion Airport
Drive to Tel Aviv and depart from Ben Gurion International Airport / Tel Aviv back home. Depending on the flight schedule, we will plan appropriate stops on the way back and allow time for shopping. Return home with a renewed sense of faith and spirituality as well as lifelong memories.
