Sales for Nabucco at Masada Continue

The Israeli Opera, celebrating 25 years, will present a summer weekend of opera in the Dead Sea area, 3-5 June 2010, featuring Verdi’s Nabucco performed on a specially-erected stage against the backdrop of Masada. Internationally renowned Israeli opera conductor Daniel Oren will lead the production that features internationally acclaimed opera singers including Georgian bass singer Paata Burchuladze, the Israeli Opera Chorus and Orchestra.
The Masada Opera Weekend features two performances of Verdi's Nabucco (June 3 and 5, 2010), a gala concert with American soprano Jessye Norman and the Opera Orchestra (June 4, 2010) and a variety of extracurricular events including tours and special sunrise concerts on top of Masada.
Tickets for the Masada Opera Weekend, reserved for tourists holding foreign passports, can be purchased only as a package which includes hotel rooms in the Dead Sea area, transfers to the performances and performance tickets.
