A Night in the Negev: 5 Incredible
Vacation Sites in the Heart of the Desert
Are you bored of vacations in a wooden hut with a Jacuzzi and forest scenery? In the Negev you can experience a different vacation: stay in an adobe-covered bus which has been converted into a house, learn to prepare sushi in a Japanese-style cabin, sit around a campfire in an ecological village, or relax comfortably in a Moroccan suite

Zimmerbus, Ezuz Hirshfeld family from Ezuz, near the Egyptian border, has turned an old bus into a family guest room which has become a tourist attraction in the settlement. The bus was coated with adobe on the outside, and with wood on the inside, the driver's cabin became a children's playroom, and the roof was covered with palm leaves. In light of its success, two more buses have been renovated and turned into fully-equipped holiday homes with views to the open desert scenery. There is a wide range of trip possibilities and tourist attractions in the area including desert tours, camel treks, and hikes. |
