The Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center, whose Our Lady of Peace Chapel will host two free concerts as part of the first Jerusalem Sacred Music Festival, 6-7 September 2012, is offering festival-goers attractive weekend package rates. The 140-room, Vatican-owned guest house, with its newly-renovated rooms and suites, is centrally located opposite the New Gate and offers festival-goers a unique international atmosphere in the heart of Jerusalem. Guests can also enjoy the famous Rooftop Cheese and Wine Restaurant, with arguably the best views across the Old and New City and a menu that features over 40 different types of imported gourmet cheeses and more than 60 different wines. Al fresco dining is also available at La Cafeteria, which is open throughout the day and evening with a varied international menu.

The Notre Dame Center was selected for inclusion in the Sacred Music Festival because of its historic and symbolic characteristics that reflect the spirit of the festival and its inter-faith message. The Chapel, with its excellent acoustics and renovated Pipe Organ provides not only spiritual comfort to pilgrims and travelers with regular mass services and special festival celebrations including Christmas and Easter, but also serves as a venue for occasional free concerts and recitals. The first concert, entitled Tunes of Sanctity, features the Harmony Choir singing Christian music from different periods and sects in several languages accompanied by organ music. (09:00) The second concert, features Rana Khoury and the Tarteel Band playing Byzantine music associated with Greek Orthodox ceremonies (12:00).

Jerusalem Season of Culture will soon be showcasing the The Jerusalem Sacred Music Festival,   four days of exceptional world class music taking place at some of the most amazing cultural and historical venues throughout the city. The festival, now in its  year, brings together diverse artists from around the world who ascend to the world's holiest city to present and explore their own brand of ‘sacred' music. Whether you are Christian, Moslem, Jewish or any other religion, the Sacred Music Festival offers a cultural tour of music that is beyond one religion and is truly music to the ears of all. The Jerusalem Sacred Music Festival will take place from September 9-12, 2014.

The festival will take place at the following historical venues:

Tower of David
Situated just inside the Jaffa Gate, The Tower of David Museum, also known as Herod's fortress, will host several cultural events throughout the citadel.

Zedekiah's Cave
Zedekiah's Cave is located just north of the Damascus Gate. This important cave was a quarry and stones from inside were used for the development of the First Jewish Temple 2,400 years ago.  Smaller performance tailored to this venue will take place during the series Healing Frequencies, a unique musical experience.

Jerusalem Music Center in Mishkenot Shaananim
This  intimate auditorium is situated outside of the Old City gates within the artists colony of Mishkenot Shaananim, considered the first neighborhood to be built outside of the walls of Jerusalem. The venue offers outstanding acoustics.

The schedule of events for the festival is as displayed below.
