The return of the Icon markes the end of the Feast of the Dormition celebrated by  Orthodox Christians. The Feast highlights include Gethsemene in Jerusalem, where the Icon of the Virgin is returned in a morning precession from the Tomb of Mary in Gethsemane to its home near Church ofthe Holy Sepulchre, situated  in the Christian quarter. The celebration takes place on September 5, 2011 in the morning beginning at Gethsemane.
