It's been 6 months since my pilgrimage to Israel...and time sure does fly. It feels like just yesturday the Holy Spirit told me to apply for a scholarship to visit Israel, and next thing you know I was on a plane full of people who clapped and rejoiced when we touched down in Tel Aviv. After my incredible experiences in The Holy Land, my life has embarked on a journey I thought would take another 5 years. It's true what they say, what we think can take a lifetime, God does in a split second.

I guess you never really know for sure why God calls you to certain things. Why would He place an urgency and conviction to support and stand with Israel, inside of a little girl from Detroit? A few Bible stories of the Israelities here and there, but I never grew up around the Jewish community, or even had a Jewish friend until I was 15. It's what God does in your life; the miracles and things that happen, that are always intertwined with your calling. For me, as a Christian, that calling is standing with Israel in the last days.

Since leaving Israel in August 2009, every blessing I've had, has been connected to Israel. I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to move to Texas, I did...and the floodgates have completely opened for me. I got to Texas, found an amazing church (Covenant Church with Pastor Mike Hayes) that completely supports Israel, and loves to worship God. I received a DEBT-FREE car. Completely free! Title and registration in hand with my name on it!! I have gotten involved with Christians United for Israel on Campus and even AIPAC! The opportunities I have encounted have been apart of major projects happening in the Holy Land, with major players. I'm just honored. There's a lot more to talk about, but I'll leave it for a later blog when things are finalized, but God is doing something new!!!

So, I write this to encourage ever Believer out there that has a passion and purpose to support and stand with Israel and the Jewish people. I don't care if your friends and church family think you are wacky and out of control, God had placed that desire in your heart, and HE will bring it to pass! For me that meant, leaving my home in Michigan and fulfillng purpose in a totally new State. If you truly desire to help and be apart of something amazing, God will begin to shape you into the vessel He needs you to be, so that you can be used by Him for His Glory. Don't be discouraged, God see's your heart. And just when you think, maybe it's pointless or unnecessary to be this bold about Israel, He will present you with an opportunity and platform to prove yourself. Be ready. Your time is coming.

Remember, you are a forerunner-carry the mantle proudly, and be prepared for opportunities that don't exist yet. You have the heart of God when you are after thing things of His heart, you are never forgotten. Keep pressing.
