The Abraham Hostel Machene Yehuda Market Tour

While my husband and I vacationed in Israel a few weeks ago, we signed up for the Abraham Hostel Food Tour in the Mehane Yehuda Market, which we learned about on Travelujah. The market was a burst of color, fragrance, and vitality. The tour was absolutely fabulous, one of the most fun things we’ve ever done!! Our guide introduced us to the market, then we chose lots of ingredients under his direction for the dinner we were to cook back at the hostel. A young couple was on the tour too and when the five of us returned to Abraham Hostel, near Davidka Square, we cooked one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my life,  under the expert guidance of our guide, Nataniel.
