After "googling" several sites for help with planning our Prayer Walk in Israel, I came upon Travelujah. It was the answer to my prayer.      Our trip was complex but Travelujah made it all work like "clockwork".  We were able to use our time very efficiently and see a tremendous amount of incredible sites.  We cannot imagine how it could have been done any better!   Not a single detail was overlooked.  The trip was perfect! Everything was well orchestrated. .. We feel the prices were very good. In fact, we feel that by using Travelujah we enjoyed better pricing than if we had tried to arrange all of this (Jordan, Israel, Egypt) on our own! (which we could never have done). I can confidently say that our trip would not have been of the same quality of defining and accomplishing our goal if I hadn't worked directly with Elisa and had not used the resources available on her website, Travelujah.  As Christians and as a pastor we were most interested in visiting many of the towns mentioned in both the Old and New Testaments.  We had a sense it would be important to see places like the Sea of Galilee, Bethlehem, Capernaum, Caesarea, Megiddo, Beth Shein, EnGedi, Nazareth and all the places in and around Jerusalem (Garden of Gethsemane, Western Wall, Temple Mount, Hezekiah's Tunnel, City of David, Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the Garden Tomb), Jericho and Qumran and many other significant points to Christians.  What we didn't realize was how much of an impact this trip would have on our Bible study and devotional time subsequent to our visits.  There is now a wonderful sense of connectedness in our daily devotional time in the Bible when we read of places where Jesus performed miracles or the Apostles proclaimed Jesus as Lord we can recall the amazing perspective our trip gave us to a sense and scope of time and place and makes the Bible come alive in a whole new way.  We never anticipated how much our visit to Israel would enrich our daily spiritual lives.  

 

My wife and I have traveled throughout the world; to China, Northern India, Egypt, Eastern and Western Europe, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa and Australia and we've never worked with someone who was as helpful and as personable and professional as Elisa.  She made the planning of our trip a pleasure and helped us to maximize the precious time we had in Israel.  I give Elisa and Travelujah the highest recommendation as a true travel professional that would help anyone with any experience and any background design a trip that would match their personality, their objectives and their pocketbook.  I not only can highly recommend Elisa but I am volunteering to promote her to by being available to anyone by phone to help them understand the value that she and her company, Travelujah, will bring to their travel plans and experience in Israel.

I happened to stumble upon travelujah and what a blessing it turned out to be.  I ended up making a request for accommodation one day in advance.  I reveived and email from Lisa, the creator of the site, and she said that usually they needed more time to be able to book, but that she would see what she could do for me!  About a few hours later I received a call from her directly saying she had found a place!!!  She found me a room at the Notre Dame guesthouse, which turned out to be another amazing blessing to me.  Not only was it a great place to stay with an awesome breakfast (included for guests), but I also met some really cool people there.  I met multiple priests that were either frequent visitors of Jerusalem and the old city or that lived there.  This helped so much because they gave me advice on what to see and when to do it.  I actually ended up being able to go see Bethlehem because one of the priests I met was taking a day trip out there and invited me along, THANKS JOSH! 

Overall the whole trip was amazing.  It really brought the Bible to life being able to see the places and walk the paths of Jesus and his disciples.  As I said I went during Easter which is one of the busiest times for travel to Jerusalem; it also holds some of the best services and things to see there in the Old City!  Being one of the busiest times for travel it is amazing that Travelujah found me a place at all, let alone somewhere as nice as the Notre Dame guesthouse!  Thank you so much for all your help Travelujah!  You are a Godsend!

I tried to contact you through Pilgerhaus management office on Saturday to thank you for arranging the accommodations.

My stay at Pilgerhaus was my best stay ever in Israel--providing just what I was hoping to find for lodging with breakfast.

The situation was also just what I was hoping for. I regret that I was unable to access Internet before arrival at Pilgerhaus late on Thursday to see your earlier email and learn about bicycle rental.  But I was more than content to tour on foot the sites in vicinity of Pilgerhaus, Mount of Beatitudes and Capernaum, and even dip into the Sea of Galilee for a swim on Friday evening.

My brief day and half (2-night) stay at Pilgerhaus and visit to Capernaum ranks near the top of the top of my favorite places visited.

Elisa was sooooo helpful we were so thankful we could talk to her in person on several occasions. Even when we arrived in Israel we had an extra day and we called her and she helped us with car rental and accommodations right then on the spot.
