An important clue: in Hebrew "ch" or "kh" sounds like the ch in Bach, not "ch" like church or chicken.

A useful hint: find out and right down the Hebrew words for all the things in your room and put signs on them. More than learning new words, you'll never forget where you left your bed or nightstand.
