Booking Terms

These intimate lodgings are similar to historic inns and can be found in major Christian cities or regions of interest including Jerusalem, Bethlehem, the Sea of Galilee and Nazareth. Christian guesthouses provide a warm and peaceful atmosphere and make for a unique and unforgettable experience to the Holy Land. The properties are generally managed by representative nuns from different orders who go out of their way to make themselves available for conversation, learning or discussion for those who are curious. Guesthouses are generally small properties and can range in size from just 15 up to 150 rooms. Amenities offered at Christian guesthouses are modest; breakfast, clean rooms with two or more single beds, towels, and an on site chapel. Most offer beautiful gardens or meditative areas and generally all are architecturally impressive and have historic significance. Most of the guesthouses do not take reservations or payment online and because the sisters have prayer during the afternoon hours, it is quite difficult to book directly.
